SALES: The NJEAA will work very hard to encourage sales. A 30% donation will be expected on sales. No work will leave the show before the end of the exhibit on October 25. At that time you will be notified of any sales.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists 18 and over. To be eligible, art must be original work. Subject must be equine. Work in oil/acrylic, watercolor, pastel, drawing and mixed media as well as sculpture and photography may be entered. Crafts are not eligible. Two dimensional work must not exceed 50” wide or high including frame. Sculpture should not exceed 75lb. but will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

ENTRIES (Due July 25): Up to three entries may be submitted for one unrefundable fee of $25. Entry must be by CD (email images are NOT acceptable), or standard size, 2”x2” slides. One slide for each two dimensional work and three slides (or images on CD) for sculpture. No email submissions! Slides must not be taped or have printed labels on them. Please write artists’s name, title of work, size, medium and “top” on front (correct view when held up to light) of slide.

Mail CD or slides, completed entry form, $25 entry fee (check made to NJEAA) and SASE (for return of slides) to: Xochitl S. Barnes P.O.Box 177, Lebanon, NJ 08833. NJEAA will retain slides of accepted art for promotional use.

Shipping information will be sent to accepted artists.

About The Somerset Art Association

Founded in 1972, The Somerset Art Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the awareness of the visual arts. Programs include year-round art classes for children and adults, lectures, art demonstrations, bus trips and changing exhibits in the Johnson Gallery.
